The amorphous creature Borne, once entangled in the fur of a flying bear maddened by a notorious biotech company, is protected by Rachel from her lover, Wick, who wants to render Borne into material for manufacturing drugs. As the dynamic between Borne, Rachel and Wick gets more complicated, and as further biotech conspiracies emerge, the }Annihilation{ author proves himself on wildly imaginative form.
